BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Our client is looking for an ambitious, dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager, ideally situated in the Midlands region. Join a purpose-led business and a market leading supplier of external wall insulation and specialist render systems, with a long history of technical excellence in the industry, spanning over 40 years. An exciting opportunity has arisen to generate and support growth in demand and supply of their external wall insulation systems into schemes driven by the requirement on social housing providers to decarbonize their housing stock, and the wider decarbonisation agenda. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to help target and service this growing market in conjunction with the extensive exemplary technical support services the company provides and the established wider sales and marketing function.
REQUIREMENTS:
- For the Business Development Manager role a minimum 3 years’ experience working within the retrofit housing sector.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience promoting technical construction products.
- Understanding of the construction process and market.
- Knowledge of the energy efficiency market – preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to demonstrate a history of tangible engagement with social housing providers and main contractors at all levels servicing the social housing retrofit sector.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing strategic opportunities within the social housing retrofit sector.
- Develop new and maintain existing relationships.
- Reporting directly to the Sales Director.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
