The role: As a territory sales manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies and plans for your assigned territory.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and leads/
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Reporting on sales performance and market trends.
  • Collaborating with other sales managers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the Outdoor Furniture sector.
  • Willing to travel regularly around New Zealand, to visit existing and future clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.
  • A high level of initiative, self-motivation and accountability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
