Description:

As an experienced Business Development Manager, your goal will be to increase the number of customers subscribing to the digital platform, owning the sales cycle end to end from outbound prospecting, inbound nurturing, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
Scaling fast, you will have an agile mindset, be able to pivot at any minute, work with pace, and show up as an ‘A Team’ player every day. If so, you will thrive in our environment, and this could be your dream job.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing your pipeline of clients and generating new business opportunities, behaving as a brand ambassador to the platform.
  • Being a Tech enthusiast and Digital expert, developing sophisticated strategies as their external Marketing advisor overall selling our subscription, events, and ads on our channels.
  • Working in synergy with Client Directors and Client Managers to coordinate a world-class customer experience.
  • Being a brand ambassador and helping your clients ultimate success on the platform and delivering our story and value proposition.
  • Ensuring operational excellence by managing your time and keeping your activities high, leveraging your teammates, managers, and our suite of amazing systems including HubSpot and its data.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge and network in our industry.

Requirements

  • A background in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of direct Business Development experience and comfortable negotiating complex deals.
  • Experience working in Digital Advertising would be a huge advantage.
  • Experience using HubSpot or other CRM software.
  • Experience in a start-up/scale-up, hyper-growth type environment, operating in a client-facing capacity.
  • Self-starter, high energy.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with solid commercial acumen.
  • Impeccable communication and sales/EQ skills.
  • Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, adapting to constant changes.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Fun, positive, and passionate.
