Description:

We’re looking for a competent and highly accomplished Business Development Manager with proven experience in the HVAC industry, product specification, and high-end customer management within the Abu Dhabi market.

  • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the HVAC field with at least 5 years in consulting sales in the UAE (Abu Dhabi) market and have a strong network/relationship within this segment.
  • The candidate must have a strong knowledge of the VRF, Ducted and Chilled Water Products.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Implement BD function strategic plans to enhance consultants’ networks and increase market share through solid knowledge of market activities and market players.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable database of consultants and developers, ensuring business growth through a robust pipeline.
  • Develop strong relationships with principal consultants and key stakeholders across the UAE to uphold the Taqeef image in the market.
  • Participate in technical campaigns, seminars, webinars, workshops, and lunch-and-learn sessions with crucial consultants to raise awareness of Taqeef products.
  • Meet principal consultants and key accounts to discuss their design pipeline and the right strategic direction to develop leads.
  • Work closely with the Project Sales team during the lifecycle of the project to increase the winning probability.
  • Work closely and maintain a strong relationship with the Sales, Product Management, Application, and Design Departments to meet strategic business goals.
  • Provide high-level product information to the potential developers/consultants in coordination with the product/engineering team, when needed.
  • Identify the project’s scope and requirements and give input to the engineering team regarding the solutions from a business development point of view.
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering or relevant.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the HVAC field (5 years in UAE), specifically in VRF/Ducted and Chilled Water Products.
  • Proven experience in working with principal consultants/developers in specifying products in UAE.
  • Broad functional experience in strategic planning, sales, technical marketing, market development, and promotions.

KEY SKILLS

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Excellent business acumen and consulting sales capability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
