Job Description:
The Manager, Business Development will report to OneOncology’s Senior Director of Growth & Commercial Operations. This individual will lead the establishment of a team dedicated to facilitating deals and developing growth strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders as new practices integrate into OneOncology’s platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of presentations and pitch materials to effectively communicate value to potential partners and stakeholders
- Participate in presentations and prospect meetings to understand changing prospect needs
- Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to conduct comprehensive market research, identifying key opportunities and market trends to inform growth strategies
- Assist in generating relevant content to influence pipeline (pitch deck, case studies, fact sheets)
- Oversee the management of deals and deal information within our CRM system, ensuring accuracy, organization, and accessibility of critical data
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to streamline growth and operations processes and optimize workflow efficiency
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and market drivers
- Spearhead the recruitment and development of a high-performing team of associates specializing in diverse areas crucial for organizational growth
- Develop a strong understanding of and train team members on company services, including business position and competition
- Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Key Competencies
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM software to effectively manage and track sales deals (such as salesforce.com or monday.com)
- Experience with conducting market research and data analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Ability to be proactive, organized and handle ambiguity
- Desire to work cross-functionally for the greater good of company goals
- Preferred – Experience in healthcare technology, oncology, or healthcare M&A
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- 4-5 years’ experience in a Consulting or Business Development Role
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Minimal travel required (approx. Quarterly)
