Responsibilities:

The Business Development Associate position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team that represents the entire suite of CloudMD services, including but not limited to Employee and Family Assistance Programs, Mental Health Solutions, Telemedicine, Occupational Health Solutions, and Disability Management Solutions. The current opportunity is focused on small-mid market business development across all sectors of the employer market in Ontario and across large national accounts.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic national team and be a meaningful contributor for growth. The role is responsible for driving growth with net new customers and support Customer Success teams with growth within CloudMD’s existing book of business, as required.

  • Analyze and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as viable sales opportunities
  • Initiate, cultivate, and develop strong relationships with potential clients
  • Understand each customer’s sales needs, market trends, and provide proactive, real, effective solutions with our products
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and accompanying documents throughout the sales cycle
  • Negotiate client contracts and agreements to maximize profit and client satisfaction
  • Track activities and ensure records of accounts, contacts, and opportunities are kept updated
  • Provide input on new market areas and/or contribute to new vertical or horizontal sector solutions for which the CloudMD products and services could be applicable
  • Ensure a smooth transition to the account management teams, collaboratively working together to successfully onboard new clients or new services for existing clients
