Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of the Business Development Manager is to drive and generate new business growth across a range of products and services throughout Queensland. Your responsibilities will include

  • Development of operating procedures and implementation of new trade lanes
  • Running advertising and promotion campaigns
  • Planning and carrying our direct sales activities to generate new business
  • Developing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts
  • Assisting in preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ’s and quotes with customers, suppliers and overseas agents
  • Coordinating and attending sales visits
  • Responding to and following up on sales enquiries
  • Distribution of contract information to customers
  • Attending industry related events
  • Updating and maintaining CRM
  • Weekly sales activity reporting
