Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of the Business Development Manager is to drive and generate new business growth across a range of products and services throughout Queensland. Your responsibilities will include
- Development of operating procedures and implementation of new trade lanes
- Running advertising and promotion campaigns
- Planning and carrying our direct sales activities to generate new business
- Developing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts
- Assisting in preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ’s and quotes with customers, suppliers and overseas agents
- Coordinating and attending sales visits
- Responding to and following up on sales enquiries
- Distribution of contract information to customers
- Attending industry related events
- Updating and maintaining CRM
- Weekly sales activity reporting
