Description:

Business Development Manager
Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Christchurch based company and become a part of a great team.
We are looking for 1 PERMANENT full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed, workdays from Monday to Friday) Business Development Manager to grow with our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on business products/services and competitors’ products/services to have advanced understanding of the current and oversea market.
  • Set sales goals for the business, create business plans and sales strategies to maximise sales, maintain business reputation with customers and potential partners.
  • Direct the development of the business and implement sales strategies to promote the business’s products/services and attract customers.
  • Observe and monitor the implementation of sales strategies and offer necessary guidance on sales staff to help the business increase revenue and boost customer retention.
  • Originate and establish strategic plans, driving the formation of new partnerships whilst building on existing relationships.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting customers/partners’ objectives, build strong brand image and create business awareness.
  • Develop strategies for both online and offline markets, broaden channel sales through platforms such as Facebook, Little Red Book, Instagram, and WeChat.
  • Enhance the growth of local B2C and B2B markets, and extend into international markets, with a particular focus on Chinese Market.
  • Monitor, analyse and interpret sales data and advise on the matters require attention.
  • Understand the needs of customers/partners and be able to respond effectively with alternative sales plans and strategies ensuring meeting these expectations.
  • Carry out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes and produce reports for management.
  • Establish a great relationship with the wider community and stakeholders.
