Description:

Our client is looking for experienced BDM’s in Asset Finance to assist in growing their technology and finance segment. They are looking for someone who can generate business via strategic partnerships and within the clients existing ecosystems. The role is business development focused however the successful candidate will also be responsible for structuring the traditional finance and residual value-based leasing solutions in addition to subscription based and as-a-service structures.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated expertise in direct client engagement and digital solution sales, with a history of selling asset finance solutions in a B2B context.
  • Proficient in cultivating new business and forging strong client relationships.
  • Well-regarded within the industry by solution providers and prospective clients alike.
  • Skilled in navigating complex sales structures and focusing on solution-oriented sales over transactions approaches. Numerical acumen is crucial for intricate deals.
  • Possess the necessary skill set, experience, and authority to engage with upper management and key decision-makers.
  • Capable of operating autonomously.
  • Driven by self-motivation and ambition.
  • Skilled in crafting professional proposals and quotes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of contemporary IT products, market trends, and advanced smart technologies.
  • Proven ability to forecast accurately and surpass sales objectives.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of sales experience with ideally 2-3 years in asset finance

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Cultivate a personal client base to enhance their investment in technology, software, and intelligent goals, also spearheading leads.
  • Forge new solution partnerships in tandem with the Sales & Strategy Director.
  • Leverage your pre-existing network as a springboard for new business, while crafting unique strategies and networking avenues to attract fresh clientele.
  • Offer financial solutions for intelligent/digital products to premier UK firms.
  • Conduct thorough research and vetting of all facets of potential clients before outreach, ensuring engagement at the correct level, with comprehensive insight into the client’s culture, fiscal habits, and IT needs.
  • Establish rapport with top-tier decision-makers and influential figures at both partner and client levels.
  • Generate a robust pipeline of prospective new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed established benchmarks for Revenue and Margin.
  • Engage all available support resources within the company throughout the selling, negotiation, and deal closure stages.

DUTIES:

  • Calculating complex financing transaction revenues and margins.
  • Identifying and capitalising on cross-border opportunities.
  • Promoting the Group’s worldwide offerings.
  • Collaborating with the Sales & Strategy Director to create a business plan for consistent outcomes.
  • Precisely forecasting both potential and actual business.
  • Complying with weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance indicators.
  • Ensuring direct interaction with clients, partners, and potential customers.
  • Expanding account development opportunities within designated clients.
  • Managing time efficiently.
  • Seizing all potential cross-selling chances with clients, partners, vendors, etc.
  • Recording all sales activities in the company’s CRM system.
  • Regularly coordinating with management and sales administration teams.
