Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a passion for cyber security. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated sales and security team, building go-to-market solutions that are relevant for their customer base. The successful candidate will have the chance to exceed sales targets, maintain customer relationships, and develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the cyber security segment. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
As a Business Development Manager specialising in Cyber Security, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, exceeding sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will collaborate with the security team to tailor solutions that meet clients’ specific security needs. Your role will also involve staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in cyber security.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Run enablement sessions with the Sales Team to further their development and skills in the Cyber Security Space
- Maintain customer relationships and own accountability for customer satisfaction
- Prepare opportunity specific proposals, scope of works & presentations
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the cyber security segment
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will bring proven experience in sales, particularly within the realm of cyber security solutions. You should have a demonstrated history of achieving sales targets, excellent communication skills, and experience working within IT Managed Service Providers. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security technologies is essential.
- Proven ability to sell complex/multi product solutions
- Experience with managed service providers
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding target for extended periods of time
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Capacity, willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills and continually improve current skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber, Business, IT, or related field
- Minimum 8 years Australian sales experience
