Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and existing business opportunities across Asia for the Corporate and Entertainment divisions
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of the deal, including strategy setting, sales presentations, proposal development and contract negotiations
  • Build and manage a rolling & robust pipeline as defined by leadership strategy, budget, and Head of Sales
  • Partner with the assigned Account Manager and department heads to help implement new business, analyze travel management data, develop return on investment strategies (ROI) and maintain ongoing communication with assigned clients to ensure strong relationships and referral business
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, financials, operations, examine risks, and potentials whilst estimating partners’ needs and goals
  • Set strategic direction for growth, efficiency, and service excellence. Develop innovative ideas and solutions to achieve business objectives
  • Work closely with Operations teams to drive high level service and evolve the service offering
  • Regularly interact with key customers to ensure relationship building, problem resolution and client satisfaction
  • Ensure consistent and adequate communication to internal and external stakeholders including employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with Operational team and Head of Sales in assessing the service configuration of each account
  • Participate in Best and Final sales presentations as determined by Head of Sales
  • Develop, implement, and manage the strategic business plan for Corporate Sales, which includes engaging clients in identifying mutual program goals; constantly demonstrating TAG’s value to the customer; proactively managing and fulfilling contractual goals with the client; evaluating and revising the business plan to address performance goals
  • Manage and execute the client’s travel program and policy and use this knowledge in developing negotiation strategies
  • Benchmark against other customers for market trends/analysis
  • Identify opportunities for additional value-added services, and increased product sales, opportunities for growth via domestic or global consolidation, opportunities in meetings/events
  • Manage the re-bid process for existing clients to include coordination of RFP/RFI process

  • Develop brand recognition via networking opportunities, identifying local and regional membership organisations with Chambers of Commerce or other relevant bodies to leverage leads and grow pipeline
  • Lead Singapore/Hong Kong agents on best practices, including but not limited to client facing technology and business offerings
  • Develop and maintain contacts at all levels as well as interface across various clients and contacts globally to build multi-level relationships
  • Participate in client and industry functions such as trade shows, seminars, webinars, and conventions, network and strengthen relationships and improve customer connection with TAG products and offerings
  • Know the responsibilities and requirements of employees under supervision, if applicable, to ensure job roles are fulfilled
  • Positively promote TAG to assist with future growth and development of the business
  • Perform other duties as assigne
