Utilise strong industry expertise to drive business growth by acquiring new business. You will build and manage successful customer relationships and have an intimate understanding of the industry, competitors and trends, along with developing customer focused sales acquisition strategies that drive sustainable growth. Acting as an industry thought leader you will play a National role to drive the strategic direction of your industry vertical and partner with the sales teams to execute.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Build key relationships with new customers within aligned industry
  • Provide analysis, identification and qualification of large and/or complex opportunities across aligned industry
  • Effectively managing sales pipeline and accurately report on sales figures
  • Be a consultative partner to prospective customers, with a deep knowledge of their strategic direction and business needs
  • Identification and qualification of large and/or strategic deals using Vocus’ sales methodology

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in customer facing acquisition/business development roles
  • Sound product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at the C-Suite level and translate client needs into a complete solution:
  • Strong experience in engaging directly with customers and forming relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships and networking with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Expert in aligned industry vertical with strong market knowledge and active role externally
