REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferrable marine or naval engineering.
- Relevant work experience in the marine, oil & gas sector, renewable energies, or offshore construction.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing processes.
- Able to write Technical Reports.
- Office Tools – MS Office.
- CAD Tools.
- Marine or offshore experience at Project Management level.
- Experience in sales/marketing of electric / hybrid vessels.

Responsibilities:
WHAT IS THE ROLE?
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our marine division (“marinEV”) to develop and manage exciting solutions for electric harbour craft and charging infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving MarinEV’s growth and impact.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and growth areas.
- Develop strategies to expand MarinEV’s presence in new regions and business segments.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for electric fleet leasing.
- Negotiate contracts and follow up with clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Project Management teams for successful project execution.
- Evaluate marketing opportunities, analyze competitors, and contribute to business models.
- Assist in refining MarinEV’s business plans and growth strategies
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Liaise with government agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
- Extend MarinEV’s industry network globally.
