Title: Business Development Partner
Division & Department: Enterprise Sales

Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: Remote – Anywhere in the contiguous US

JOB SUMMARY

As a Business Development Representative, you will establish relationships with potential customers through research and communication, from first contact until you schedule a meeting with a Sales Executive. You will fully realize the prospect and organization’s needs and determine how FranklinCovey can provide value. In turn, this will be presented to the prospect through a variety of methods. This position will focus on our Canadian markets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year(s) working in a business development, sales, marketing, or lead generation role.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Business development, sales, marketing, or lead generation experience in a B2B and/or SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in cold calling and discovery conversations preferred.
  • French (Canadian) language proficiency.
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce and sales automation systems such as Outreach.io.
  • Familiarity with the industry and market dynamics relevant to FranklinCovey solutions is a plus. Understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape helps in identifying growth opportunities.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfortability interacting with prospects via phone, chat, and other methods.
  • Energized by continual growth, both professionally and personally.

    California - Anticipated compensation for this position is $65-70k base plus $5-7k variable pay. Actual offer may be outside of this range and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
