As an Inside Sales Representative for ARL Network, you will build your own book of business while acting as the single point of contact for your customers to handle their transportation needs year round. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Call on prospective leads to establish relationships and illustrate how ARL Network can add value to build your book of business from the ground up
- Continuously identifying new business opportunities and closing customers to move their freight
- Act as point of contact for customers regarding all matters in respect to business with ARL Network and our vendors
- Negotiate pricing with shippers and carriers
- Dispatch shipments to carriers by following customer service requirements and carrier utilization plans to achieve performance and profit objectives
- Be honest, thorough, and proactive in all communications internally and externally
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- The determination to be the hardest worker in the room
- Available to work full-time in the office located in the Strip District in Pittsburgh, PA
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle conflict in a professional manner
- Entrepreneurial spirit accompanied by a customer service attitude
- The ability to learn and work with the latest technologies
