REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Proven track record in business development, cold calling, and email outreach, preferably within the B2B software or SaaS industry.
  2. Experience targeting and engaging with consultancy firms or similar professional services organizations is highly desirable.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively and build rapport with prospects.
  4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work autonomously.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and driving measurable outcomes.
  6. Highly curious and a problem solver with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

CV Partner is seeking a proven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The BDR will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by prospecting, engaging and securing meetings with consultancy firms operating in sectors such as IT consulting, Legal, Engineering, Business Consulting, and Construction. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to support us in opening up the North American market with the potential for rapid career growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prospecting: Identify and research potential consultancy firms within the target sectors using various channels such as LinkedIn, industry directories, and company databases.
  2. Outreach: Execute effective cold calling and email outreach campaigns to introduce CV Partner’s solutions to key decision-makers within target organizations.
  3. Qualification: Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure alignment with CV Partner’s ideal customer profile (ICP). Assess prospects’ needs, challenges, and readiness to engage in further discussions.
  4. Engagement: Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their pain points related to proposal management and demonstrate how CV Partner’s software can address their challenges effectively.
  5. Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings, product demos, or discovery calls for the assigned Account Executive (AE) with qualified prospects. Ensure the prospect and AE are well prepared for the meeting with aligned expectations.
  6. Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with a designated AE to develop strategies for penetrating target accounts, nurturing leads, and driving revenue growth. Provide regular updates on prospecting activities and pipeline status.
  7. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, meetings booked, comprehensive notes and opportunities in the CRM system. Track and report on key performance metrics such as conversion rates and revenue generated.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in business development and sales techniques. Participate in training sessions and skill development programs as required.
