WHO ARE WE?

HubSpot is a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform for scaling companies. Tens of thousands of customers all over the world use our marketing, sales, and customer success software to grow their businesses. It’s our mission to not just help them grow, but to help them grow better.
At HubSpot, we believe that our values live in our hearts, not our hallways. We want to build a company where people feel empowered to do their best work, wherever they are. Our ANZ office is located in Sydney’s CBD, however, this role is open to remote workers based anywhere in Australia.

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

The BDR role at HubSpot offers the opportunity to learn best practices around consultative SaaS selling, using proven sales frameworks and creative & targeted prospecting. In this role, you will be equipped with the tools, training and have the opportunity to work with high performing peers as well as partnering with Mid-Market or Corporate Account Executive to drive sales pipelines. You’ll be a valued member of the team, contributing towards the growth of HubSpot’s market share in the ANZ market by providing a top tier CRM solution to businesses. We’re looking for hard-working, competitive and self-motivated individuals who have already excelled in similar sales roles and who want to build upon their experience in the tech space. We have a structured pathway for our BDRs to progress into the Account Executive team.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE?

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting (telemarketing) to generate qualified leads (between 40 and 60 calls per day)
  • Work closely and collaboratively with an assigned Account Executive/Sales Representative to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans
  • Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of discovery calls
  • Schedule discovery calls for an assigned Account Executive/Sales Representative
  • Conduct needs assessments calls with specific prospects as assigned

HOW WILL YOU EXCEL IN THIS ROLE?

  • A strong interest in a long-term career in sales and the discipline to drive results
  • Genuine curiosity about business and technology
  • A growth mindset and a habit of seeking feedback for self-development
  • The confidence to prospect and speak to C-level executives
  • High performance in previous roles and areas outside of professional work (E.g hobbies, sport, creative)
