POSITION OVERVIEW

The role of the “BDR” sits within the Commercial function, and its primary focus is to source new business opportunities across a defined region and verticals. This role is an outbound-focused one across our main products Isentia and Pulsar. You’ll be supported by a modern technology stack, sales enablement and team with ongoing training past onboarding. We use a range of channels to reach our prospects and this includes linkedin, email phone and video alongside hosting events and attending them also.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 24 months experience in a similar outbound sales role in SaaS
  • Able and willing to do cold prospecting
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious and interested in a long-term career in sales
  • Articulate with an excellent telephone manner
  • Naturally organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • Dynamic, confident and target driven self-starter
  • Keen to learn with a great initiative
  • Persuasive and persistent yet friendly and personable
  • Able to take initiative to research contact and organisation information.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to Understand Isentia’s product offerings and confidently pitch
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, LinkedIn, emails, and video.
  • Identify & Qualify client needs & challenges based on sales methodologies such as BANT and MEDDIC/MEDDPIC
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential customers and accounts
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up in-person or virtual meeting between (prospective) clients and sales reps
  • Collaborate with sales reps and reporting Manager on strategic prospecting and messaging
  • Report to your Manager on activity and pipeline development
