Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in a remote position.

As a Business Development Representative, you will secure and retain business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Actively prospecting and leveraging potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing Customers/Accounts.
  • Establishing relationships and identifying potential opportunities through active networking in the industry.
  • Collaborating with Sales Management to identify and prioritize list of target Account opportunities for each ‘prospecting cycle.’
  • Establishing and executing a comprehensive sales plan for each target account.
  • Leading the sales process; preparing and leading the sales presentation.
  • Coordinating with contracts/proposals to develop proposal and handle follow-up related to the sale.
  • Maintaining visibility within customer organization and monitor customer satisfaction.
  • Planning and coordinating all customer sales activities.
  • Analyzing potential opportunities and developing sales plans for each target account.
  • Reporting all sales related activities in CRM system.

THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Excellent understanding of business and Industry Trends and ability to interpret the trends relevant to the business.
  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks.
