The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Development specialist to join our business development team. As an Business Developer specialist, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the inside-sales, the pre-sales and product teams to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met. You must be seasoned in Technology sales, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success in sales. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiating initial discussions with potential new customers and other stakeholders with the eco system (partners, resellers, …) and generate new business opportunities
  • Increase conversion of pipe: push new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails and qualify potential customers
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and set up the value proposal of Worldline, jointly with the pre-sales and product teams on a global level
  • Perform effective online or F2F demos and presentation of our value proposition to prospects
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Leading bid teams and influencing the Worldline response during tender processes
  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop strategies for reaching targets
  • Use customer relationship management software (Sales Navigator & SalesForce) to manage leads and sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
