ARE YOU QUALIFIED?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- At least 1 year of Business development/ Sales Development experience preferred
- Experience and comfort in working in a Customer Relationship Management Tool (Salesforce)
- Excellent communication skills
- History in navigating customer organizational structure to uncover correct decision maker alignment
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding activity, opportunity management and sales quotas
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and achieve objectives with minimal guidance

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to spearhead the expansion of our equipment sales funnel. As a vital extension of our NA OEM-Pharma Sales teams, you’ll be pivotal within our journey to uncover, cultivate, and champion new business opportunities within the Videojet Portfolio. This position is part of the NA OEM-Pharma commercial organization located in Wood Dale, IL and will be hybrid.
IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
- Promote territory growth by identifying potential customers and creating new business opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Leverage the power of digital resources to qualify, support, and pinpoint potential customers engaging with Videojet.
- Manage a robust growth funnel pipeline, set appointments, nurture leads, and chart progress towards exceeding sales goals.
- Customer Visibility: secure information that details the corporate structure along with the key contacts at each site from engineering, production and procurement.
- Field Visibility: find out site, install base and competitive information details.
- Load all relevant customer information into our ERP Salesforce tool making it easily accessible for the sales team.
- Apply the use of value selling techniques; understand our customer needs and values; engage with customers in a compelling manner.
- Maintain mutually beneficial and profitable relationship with each Account Manager to whom your customers target base is assigned to.
