WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 1-2 years of work experience in a top-tier management consultancy or in a strategy role in a fast-moving startup / scale up
  • You have a strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, paired with exceptional analytical capabilities
  • You are an excellent communicator, both verbal and written; ability to build and communicate compelling, data-driven narratives
  • You are proficient in managing stakeholders effectively, including internal cross-departmental interactions and external engagements with our partners and customers
  • Hands-on mindset: Come up with pragmatic solutions and move to action fast
  • You enjoy working in a team and are a strong team player
  • You are fluent in German and English

Responsibilities:

The Business Development & Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Billie’s strategic direction. Anchored in the commercial organisation, but spanning cross departments in its impact and stakeholder involvement, the role is highly strategic, analytical, and operational in its nature. In this position you will work closely with our commercial leadership team to evaluate current business performance, identify strategic opportunities, and drive initiatives to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. Thus, activities can range from defining our GTM-approach for new markets, defining KPI with robust tracking mechanisms across the commercial organisation, building a competitive pricing model for new products & markets, and working with our Marketing team on new marketing initiatives.

As a Business Development and Strategy Manager, you will:

  • Identify, analyse, and evaluate market opportunities that drive most business value for Billie and formulate concrete business strategies to capitalise on these opportunities
  • Structure and manage key strategic projects end-to-end
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and build forecast / planning models in connection with business planning
  • Act as an entrepreneur and deliver hands-on impactful solutions that are meaningful to the organisation
  • Work closely with senior management and collaborate with stakeholders from various departments such as Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Product or Operations
