BUSINESS DIRECTOR, TECHNOLOGY PRESALES (DIGITAL SOLUTIONS) - HELSINKI, FINLAND

We are now looking for a Business Director to work with our clients and prospects in the private sector, and the Futurice tech community. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving Futurice’s success at the intersection of technology and sales, serving as a key member of the Digital Solutions leadership team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver customer value through technology, data, and AI. Your knack for identifying challenges, crafting solutions, and producing compelling content will shine. The good news is that you won’t be working solo; you will have a team of experts in different domains to complement your skillset. However, you must understand enough to ask the right questions, make informed decisions, and craft coherent solutions and content for proposals.
Additionally, you’ll take charge of organizing co-sales with our esteemed technology and cloud partners, including Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Your challenge? Elevating the effectiveness and reach of our technology, data, and AI business portfolio by innovating solutions and strategies that meet evolving client needs, ultimately fortifying our market position and growth.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Qualification: Analyze and prioritize leads based on needs, budget, and timeline.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand prospects’ challenges and objectives to provide tailored recommendations with our technical team and sales leaders.
  • Solution creation: Collaborate with competencies and staffing to form successful presales teams and create winning proposals.
  • Relationship Building: Actively build relationships with client stakeholders, especially with CIOs, CTOs, architects, and product managers.
  • Supporting delivery teams: Aid client delivery teams by spotting opportunities and addressing potential challenges before they escalate. At times you might even participate in delivery projects as a technical consultant, if that’s what’s needed for success.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to drive the sales cycle, develop impactful solutions, leverage partnerships effectively, and bolster Futurice’s reputation as a top-tier advisor in technology, data, and AI. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working proficiency in English and Finnish.
  • Master’s degree in a technology-related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a presales role within technology or digital consultancy among CxO level decision makers in TOP50 companies in Finland.
  • Over 10 years of industry experience in technology.
  • Proficiency in enterprise architectures, data, AI, and custom and SaaS-based solutions.
  • Strong ability to contribute to technology, data & AI offerings.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to produce well-refined and coherent content for materials
  • Proven capability in leading teams and managing projects effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Trusted advisor persona with a strong network among CIOs, CTOs, chief architects, and product managers
