Business Engagement Coordinator

This position will contribute to the implementation of the Universitys business engagement and knowledge exchange strategy and supporting objectives.
The role holder will be a member of the wider functional team of Business Engagement & Knowledge Exchange (BEKE), part of the Directorate of Research and Business Engagement. They will support colleagues to implement strategic objectives for the Universitys engagement with external partners, with a particular focus on SME engagement, and including industry, governmental agencies and other appropriate organisations in response to arising priority areas.
The post will also contribute to University-wide operational priorities for growth of income, including growth of SME engagement, working with colleagues to develop and implement strategies and activities for growing relations with these businesses and increasing the value of SME engagement for both the partners and The University. The post will be based in the Business Engagement and Knowledge Exchange Team and will provide support to the Head of SME Partnerships.
Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the Points Based System. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK in order to be eligible to take up the post.
