Operations Support Team:

  • Provides key initiative implementation support, development of business requirements, represents operations in cross-functional and enterprise-level engagements, and manages responses to process/control reviews
  • Acts as the central point of contact for all operational policy/procedure changes and partners with key stakeholders, including but not limited to Business Excellence, Customer Excellence, WFAS, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and consultative services to the operations - leading to improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join the Auto Operations Support Team. Working closely with internal business partners, this role will support the execution and closing of issues and remediations for Auto’s Operations Support team. In this role, you will:

  • Consult and provide guidance on the development, implementation, and monitoring of significant matters regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, business performance improvement opportunities, and helping to manage the risks for the applicable business functions
  • Utilize thorough knowledge of the business unit’s functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business
  • Responsible for support functions and/or operations/production oversight usually for multiple business groups within a Line of Business
  • Functions supported may include policy/procedure administration and adherence, systems/change initiatives, information security, business continuity planning, capacity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, project funding, pipeline, process improvement, quality management, third party management, communications, financial control/budgeting oversight
  • May present to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements
  • May consult on process execution matters for risk policies/ programs, business process risk/ control assessment at process level
  • May conduct, execute, or manage risk assessments, ad hoc reviews, quality activities, issue intake process, remediation process, and exam management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
