We are seeking a Business Improvement Specialist to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Lean/Continuous Improvement experience (minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated leadership in the delivery of structured business improvement projects with experience leading project teams.
  • Experience of structured root cause analysis methodologies, such as DMAIC, 8D or similar Continuous improvement tools.
  • Proficient in working with/supporting colleagues in delivery of their improvements.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and excellent attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to display and explain complex data in an engaging way.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business.
  • Flexibility to work across all sites as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date records for the Business Improvement pipeline of ideas and projects to ensure prioritisation of ideas and active attendance at the change board.
  • Engage with idea proposers to assess and action new improvement ideas.
  • Track progress of improvements to encourage completion and support benefits assessment.
  • Working with the Health and Safety team, process improvement suggestions, and support improvements where required.
  • Carry out process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity.
  • Develop business cases for Lean process improvement projects, including other stakeholders where necessary.
  • Engage with Lean Practitioners across the business to assist in the delivery of projects.
  • Progress Lean projects that enable the reduction in waste, deliver benefits to the business and align with the digital transformation programme.
  • Collect and analyse data.
  • Engage proactively with National Highways improvement team to share best practice and promote collaboration.
