Founded in 2008, Locumsmart provides web-based software-as-a-service solutions to the healthcare recruitment industry. The Locumsmart web-portal provides workflow automation, vendor management (VMS), and managed services provider (MSP) software for lowering costs, and increasing the efficiency of recruitment. Our clients include some of the largest hospital systems and staffing firms in the country.
As a BI Analyst at Locumsmart, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our accounting team by managing monthly projections, and iterating on our projection model. Drawing upon your extensive experience in forecasting, you will lead the development and enhancement of forecasting models, ensuring their accuracy and relevance to the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be looked upon as the subject matter expert, guiding decision-making processes by advising on the selection of appropriate forecasting models and methodologies and articulating the rationale behind these choices. Leveraging your strong SQL skills, you will extract, manipulate, and analyze data from diverse sources, providing valuable insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning initiatives. Furthermore, your ability to visualize data, build interactive dashboards, and craft compelling narratives using Sisense will be instrumental in ensuring that insights are not just understood but drive actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the accounting team and BI manager to develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize financial performance.
  • Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Sisense to visualize key financial metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide decision support to various departments within the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in BI, financial analysis, and data visualization techniques.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Information Technology or related discipline (equivalent work experience may substitute for this requirement)
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience as a BI Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with other BI tools such as Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in the data visualization tool Sisense. (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. (preferred)

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $64,900 - $197,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
