KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• HSD, or equivalent education, is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field, preferred
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, forecasting methods, and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources to uncover insights that inform strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include cleaning and integrating data, conducting statistical analysis, and presenting findings through visualizations and reports. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, business acumen, and effective communication abilities to translate data into actionable recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, MSFN specific systems, web analytics tools, and external vendors.
• Clean, validate, and integrate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to uncover business opportunities and challenges.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand the factors driving key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
• Present complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner, tailored to the needs of different audiences.
• Continuously refine and improve reporting mechanisms to enhance decision-making processes.
• Utilize predictive analytics techniques to forecast future trends and outcomes.
• Build and validate predictive models to support strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.
• Monitor model performance and adjust as necessary to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on data-driven initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of business intelligence and analytics.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI solutions.
