Procurement Analytics is a new function, part of the Procurement department within Global Procurement, established to build and maintain the analytics framework within the Procurement function. As our new Analyst in Procurement Analytics, you will be part of the development of a novel department where you will get to impact the way of working, scope, and how we deliver to Procurement on a Global Scale. You will be working closely with the global and regional stakeholders in Procurement to ensure alignment of analytic solutions towards business strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in relevant area i.e. Business, Engineering (or mixed form of Supply Chain Management), Economics, Finance, Business Intelligence
- Great communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with data analytics and commerce
- Ability to coordinate analytical initiatives end-to-end
- Solid analytic skills in both data modeling (Datasphere / SQL) and data visualization (PowerBI / SAC)
- Fluency in English (verbally and in writing)
Responsibilities:
You will have an integral part in:
- Anchoring the needs and requirements from our procurement stakeholders in Porto within the Procurement Analytics team
- Supporting the Procurement by creating new analytical tools improving the decision-making process
- Leading the analytic transformation of Vestas’ procurement securing end-to-end analytics and digital automation where applicable
- Guarantee the methodical monitoring of Analytics enhancement initiatives and ensure that these projects are aligned with the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders
