Philip Morris International is committed to growth and is looking for an aspiring BI & Data Analyst who will play a critical role in the Business Intelligence team capturing industry trends and recommending proposals to achieve mid and long-term business goals. You will be part of high performing team and work across a myriad of data sources & business verticals. We are looking for someone who will translate information to insights and translate insights into action. The role will require strong leadership, an ability to influence stakeholders across multiple commercial teams to execute and drive meaningful actions that drive the business forward.
Your ‘day to day’:

As a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Translating information to insights to drive effective outcomes across the value chain of the business
  • Using consumer, offtake and macro data to understand consumer trends and identify opportunities
  • Drawing insights from competition analysis on share, volume and profitability to identify gaps and propose recommendations
  • Ensuring sound and timely management of data principles to enable robust business decisions

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a Strategic Analyst capacity in a leading FMCG or top tier consulting firm
  • Ability to connect the dots (raw data > insights > outcomes)
  • Strong critical thinking and analytic skills
  • Expert ability in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to Power BI is preferred
  • Demonstration of natural curiosity, growth mindset
  • Ability to manage ambiguity
  • Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
  • A storyteller who can visualize data & insights
  • A strong desire to succeed
