Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team in this newly created role as Business Intelligence Data Engineer. You will play a key role in driving high-profile data initiatives and collaborating with various business units and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining data architecture, data models, and standards for multiple data warehouse projects in Snowflake. This is an opportunity to join a growing IT function and major technology transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and automate ETL/ELT solutions using Azure, SQL, REST API connectors, Blob Storage, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Gather and process raw data at scale, including scripting, API invocation, and SQL query development.
  • Ensure integration of new features and subject areas with existing structures to maintain a consistent view.
  • Maintain documentation of data architecture, data flow, and data warehouse data models for technical and business audiences.
  • Project manage tasks and larger workstreams to meet timelines and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Uphold data governance, data quality, and master data management standards.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure effective communication.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience with SAAS environments, data architecture, and Microsoft products like Power BI.
