BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to five years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Power BI / Tableau strongly preferred
  • (Creating dashboards and visualizations from scratch)
  • In-depth expertise in writing SQL code is strongly preferred
  • Product analytics or Digital marketing analytics experience preferred
  • Expert level skill in stakeholder management and communication, including holding stakeholder meetings, demoing products, creating Product Requirement Documentation and tailoring data visualizations to the requests of stakeholders strongly preferred
  • Experience in providing actionable insights to the stakeholders derived from data for positive business outcomes strongly preferred
  • Experience in Payments a plus
    This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The person in this role will:

  • Gather and integrate large volumes of data from multiple complex data sources, perform analysis, interpret results/patterns/trends, and will develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company.
  • Provide answers to business questions, as well as provide recommendations for action for positive business outcomes.
  • Utilize various statistical techniques and tools and will present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner, allowing stakeholders and others to quickly understand the results and recommendations, so they act upon them and make data driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with various partners across the enterprise to provide a holistic view of the analysis, measuring and monitoring results of applied recommendations and present adjustments, as needed. The role will also ensure all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.
  • Stand up new reporting on new device and/or site launches, including feature utilization for our merchants.
  • Review funnel usage for various online processes pertaining to the business, working to resolve any process bottlenecks.
