Description:

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in the data/BI space
    Amazon’s Global Transportation Services team is looking for an enthusiastic and customer obsessed Business intelligence Engineer to help us drive changes and manage operational excellence to support in optimizing our transportation network.
    The role will involve understanding transportation processes, from our fulfillment centers on to our final mile carriers who deliver our packages to our customers. As part of the Transportation Configuration Team you will combine business process knowledge, data expertise, and analysis skills to identify and drive programs within our transportation network.
    To be successful in the role, you need analytical skills, ability to influence across business functions and manage stakeholders’ expectations effectively.

  • Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
  • Work at the intersection of tech and business, leveraging advanced tech skills with strong domain knowledge
  • Develop technical solutions to business problems that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity
  • Write high quality code
  • Recognize and adopt best practices: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
  • Architect and automate ETL pipelines
  • Leverage AWS services to build tools and systems

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Luxembourg, LUX

  • Advanced technical degree, or Master’s degree
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
