Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and a passion for transforming raw data into meaningful insights. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization make informed decisions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data.

QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a marketing or real estate context.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with business intelligence concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts is a plus.
• Proven experience using Placer.ai, Buxtonco, Alteryx, CoStar, Oracle, Hubspot, Monday.com software is a plus.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds.

Data Integration and Analysis:

• Collect, cleanse, and consolidate data from various sources related to marketing campaigns, real estate trends, and sales performance.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
• Communicate data analysis results in an informed, unbiased and predictive way to aid in making business intelligence suggestions.

Marketing Support:

• Collaborate with the Marketing department to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Provide insights on customer behavior, segmentations, and preferences to enhance targeted marketing strategies.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing return on investment.

Real Estate Insights:

• Assist the Real Estate department in evaluating potential locations for new stores and expansion.
• Analyze market trends, demographics, and competitive landscapes to support real estate decision-making.

Business Intelligence:

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data-driven insights.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address specific data-related challenges and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through data analysis.

Data Strategy:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define requirements and strategies for data collection and analysis.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics.
