Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst for the Specialty Reporting Services team at Bayshore. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
The team member will have the ability to develop complex and appealing visualizations using a variety of BI Tools based on tightly established client turnaround times.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor degree in information technology, statistics or data analysis
EXPERIENCE
- Expert level Power BI, Excel, and Dashboarding Skills
- 2+ years experience working with complex data sets
- 2+ years experience in analyzing and presenting results to stakeholders and clients
- 2+ years experience with SQL and VBA is an asset
- Data mining and in depth knowledge of Data Science techniques is an assent
- Experience working with pharmaceutical data is an asset

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of new reporting processes and procedures as required, such as moving to automated reporting methods
- Analyze reports for trends and variances across the programs and communicate findings
- Design and prepare monthly, bimonthly or quarterly business reports including metrics/volumes and significant case summaries to clients using a variety of tools, including; Excel, Power BI, SSRS, PowerPoint
- Convert data to usable information to drive growth, individual contract KPI’s and increased productivity
- Act as the subject matter expert for specific Bayshore Specialty Rx Ltd data sets and act as a liaison with internal management and clients as required
- Test and debug reporting and analysis using standard tools including but not limited to Excel, Access, CRM and other database management tools/systems
- Interpret data and develop actionable recommendations for business leaders
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries and reporting needs efficiently as well as adapt to rapidly evolving client requirements
- Knowledge of SQL queries to acquire data from primary and secondary data sources is desirable
- Formulating and communicating meaningful and actionable process plans
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedure
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company’s Quality Management System
- Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any health and safety risks or concerns. Responsible for completing Accident
- Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24 hours of the incident.
- Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
