Are you ready for the next step in your career ? We are looking for Business Manager, P&P Profilers & Solution Sales
Valmet Automation is a global leader in providing customer’s automation solutions for the pulp and paper, power generation, marine, and process industries.
We are seeking a result-oriented Business Manager to drive the growth and profitability of our Profilers product family and solution sales support of QCS, Profilers & Machine Vision systems in the pulp and paper industry globally.

Main responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day business performance of the Profilers product portfolio to meet defined business targets.
  • Leads portfolio management of the Profilers product family in close cooperation with Product managers as well as with other functions such as Operations, R&D, Sales & Service and Marketing
  • Leads the product road mapping process and works as a business owner role in R&D projects to ensure customer demand fulfillment.
  • Manages sales funnel with P&P sales teams and defines performance promises together with Product managers for sales cases to ensure profitable business growth.
  • Provides together with the relevant stakeholders’ solution sales support for P&P sales cases to ensure differentiation and maximize customer value.

Requirements:

  • You have a M.Sc or B.Sc degree in a relevant area.
  • We expect you to have experience in pulp and/or paper making processes. Understanding of QCS, Profilers & Machine vision systems is an asset.
  • Good networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural matrix organization.
  • Analytical mindset and systematic way of working.
  • Strong business orientation and ability to drive for results.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
  • The candidate should also have the ability and willingness to travel internationally.
