Description:
The Contract Management and Strategic Support teams comprises of contract managers, regional managers and a strategic support team supported by administrative staff. The Business Manager will lead and manage process change and optimisation within the department.
The Business Managerwill be responsible for overseeing and improving operational processes. In this position, the successful candidate will analyse current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity. The Manager will also be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams and develop strategies to optimise workflow.
This is a new role where the successful candidate will be proactive in the development of a growing team and the supporting structures and processes. The successful candidate will have a key role in relation to the management and administration of the NTPF’s function under the legislation, including:
- Lead and manage operational and assigned projects.
- Collaborate and engage with project stakeholders, external agencies and relevant health service agencies as necessary.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation is created for any initiatives undertaken.
- Participate in the ongoing development of the Contract Management support infrastructure.
- Using Project Management methodologies, prioritize and manage ongoing and new projects within the contract management and strategic support teams.
- Create project plans based on project details in project management software.
- Overseeing the appraisal of projects including reviews of business cases for projects. Issues Log – identification, resolution and escalation of project related issues.
- Develop and provide structured training material for end users and be capable of delivering group and/or one on one training modules.
- Produce management reports and on projects as they progress.
- To participate in the development and implementation of information systems with particular reference to nursing homes.
- Carry out any other duties which may be assigned by the NTPF from time to time.
