Job Description
Renishaw’s CMM and Gauging Products Division is looking for a Business Development Executive to help define requirements and concepts for market development, product management, sales forecasting and analysis.
The role presents a unique opportunity within Renishaw to gain a huge amount of exposure to all stages of the product management lifecycle all at once. You will assist with the product marketing and sales activities for our long-established Equator systems; our recently launched AGILITYsystems and also an exciting flagship product planned for launch in the next 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Management and implementation of all digital sales enablement material for users within the division.
  • Creation and dissemination of customer portfolios throughout the group to promote use cases and maximise sales opportunities across key accounts.
  • Coordinate product management activities for the launch of one of Renishaw’s flagship products and assist the Product Managers with the life cycle tasks for current products and those in development.
  • Research and report on global market trends to guide our business models and assist in producing sales forecasts.
  • Assist specialist teams with formal RFQ assessments and response - These formal requests contain huge amounts of detail and often require a rapid response.
  • Attend the monthly global subsidiary commercial review meetings to gain exposure to the commercial activities being discussed.

Key requirements

  • Degree qualified in a commercial or engineering discipline.
  • Experienced in generating materials for the forecasting, marketing and sale of technical products.
  • Awareness of manufacturing processes and a keen interest in manufacturing trends and emerging technologies.
  • An understanding of engineering product lifecycles and management.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages as well as sales enablement platforms such as seismic and web hosting
