Description:
The Business Office Assistant at McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care is responsible for overseeing front office and human resource duties. The Business Office Assistant also represents McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care to the residents, their guests, families and the community.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.
- Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines.
- Experience in order entry and processing is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Experience:
- Human resources: 1 year (Preferred)
- Administrative: 2 years (Required

Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities described below are representative, but not necessarily all-inclusive of the position:
- Assist the Business Office Director with all front office processes included, but not limited to, employee onboarding, office supplies/equipment, personnel files, employee database tracking, employee meal tracking, and orientation.
- Provide administrative support to Executive Director, Business Office Director and department heads.
- Be a backup to the receptionist.
- At direction of Business Office Director, conduct frequent inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
