We are looking for a seasoned Business Performance Analyst in San Diego, CA . This role provides management reporting and analysis of portfolio growth and sales activities for assigned business groups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a bachelor’s in business, finance, or related field and 2+ years’ experience in financial analysis, sales, incentive compensation, budgets or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Working knowledge of financial analysis principles, applications, and methods.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Ability to develop financial models.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
Ability to work in a heavily deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
Works effectively with co-workers and both internal and external customers.
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities:

Provides management reporting and analysis of portfolio growth and sales activities for assigned business groups.
Develops and designs reports and complex queries, extracting data from data warehouse.
Provides sales performance to goals analysis specific to individual product and banker performance.
Analyzes and administers assigned business unit incentive plan programs, analyzing sales performance against established goals.
Tracks key performance metrics and provides performance reporting to management.
Calculates incentive payments according to incentive plan guidelines.
Tracks incentive expense to budget.
Provides training and interpretation of incentive plan guidelines to managers and employees.
Works with business unit managers and HR Compensation on proposed modifications to current incentive plans and recommendations for new incentive plans.
Administers other employee recognition programs, marketing campaigns and events.
Other duties as assigned.
