Provide support to the Manager Business Planning SFP in the areas of short-term and long-term planning (by conducting impactful analyses on internal and external factors that affect business performance), reporting of business performance for SFP category in Mexico and providing financial evaluations for business initiatives.
Your day to day
1. Business Forecasting
Assist the Manager Business Planning in achieving sales forecast accuracy through effectively monitoring and analyzing business KPIs and market trends leading to business insights, identifying risks and opportunities that can impact future growth, and develop proposed action plans to address them. Support the preparation of OB and Rolling Forecast exercises, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and incorporating key assumptions.
2. Performance Reporting and Executive Management Support
Support in monitoring and reporting business performance by providing business updates, industry reports, sales highlights, and other management reports as required. Provides periodic information necessary in monitoring progress and validation of projects/strategic plans that will serve as basis for business reviews with management.
Provide analyses on volume and financial results against budget and monthly updates on YTD & RF financials vs Budget / RFs.
3. Business Intelligence
Responsible for maintaining market information system and database. This involves regular collection, classification and update of various information as well as identifying and managing internal and external sources of market. Responsible as well for building a database and repository of all information (ie. market research and data statistics) and ensuring integrity of the data. Works with Manager Business Planning in analyzing the information gathered to provide relevant and actionable inputs to the evaluation and implementation of business planning and projects. Support the business by providing financial analyses on commercial initiatives, generating scenarios, and making recommendations to achieve objectives.
Accountabilities
1. Monitoring and reporting business performance by providing business updates, industry reports, sales highlights, and other management reports as required.
2. Analyze the volume and financial results against budget and monthly updates /YTD & RF financials vs Budget / RF / PY
3. Identify risks and opportunities that can impact future growth.
4. Maintain market information system and database.
5. Provide data driven analyses and recommendations on business initiatives.
6. Financial evaluation (ROI, MC, Commercial Investment, and Volume) of proposed projects and new product launches (NPL).

We are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • College/University degree holder in management, business, economics, or related course
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills / problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills with perspective thinking.
  • Customer satisfaction mindset: quality and timeliness of delivery is critical.
  • Collaborative and customer focus-oriented attitude.
  • Advanced level of English spoken and written.
