Description:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least a Degree Holder.
  • Preferably 5 years of relevant working experience in the energy or utilities industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a team.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic projects combined with the ability to effectively implement change.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in business process improvement and project management and implementation.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed flow charts, process maps, develop procedures and prepare reports.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS

  • High proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Dynamics), Power BI, process mapping and analysis tools.
  • Ability to understand and apply technical concepts to implement process changes to address business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and comfort in working with numbers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Develop, standardize, and optimize business processes for the Retail Operations team.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, standardize, and optimize business processes by analyzing and evaluating existing processes and challenges.
  • Co-ordinate business process improvement strategies with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing all aspects of the implementation stages and facilitating workshops for buy-in and execution.
  • Oversee teams working on process improvements and deliver the training for these new processes.
  • Perform analysis of the business processes related to productivity, efficiency, quality, costs, and time management.
  • Review and update procedures and policies to support billing, sales and metering requirements. Prepare management progress reports, feedback, and suggestions to all stakeholders through meetings, workshops, and documentation.
  • Manage and support new projects to optimize business processes, including project implementation, post implementation, system stabilization and monitoring phase to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Team leader for operational functions such as billing operations, customer support or collections.
