We are looking to hire a Business Process Transformation Lead to join our Central Functions. You will be instrumental in driving the advancement and maturation of business processes across Compass Group UK&I. This role focuses on assessing current processes, identifying maturity gaps, and implementing strategies to elevate process effectiveness and maturity, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process Evaluation and Maturity Assessment· Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes across the organisation to determine their maturity levels.· Identify key gaps in process maturity and areas for improvement by benchmarking against industry standards and best practices.2. Strategy Development for Process Enhancement· Develop strategic plans aimed at closing the identified maturity gaps in processes.· Collaborate with senior management to align these strategies with the broader business objectives and operational goals of the company.3. Implementation of Process Improvements· Lead the implementation of process changes designed to improve maturity, including the integration of new technologies and methodologies.· Ensure that process enhancements are implemented effectively, on time, and within budget, while minimising disruption to ongoing operations.4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication· Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and changes.· Manage stakeholder expectations through clear and consistent updates and demonstrations of process improvements.5. Training and Change Management· Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that staff are well-versed in new processes and enhancements.· Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes throughout the organization.6. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement· Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of newly implemented processes.· Continuously evaluate process performance and make adjustments as necessary to further enhance maturity and efficiency.7. Leadership and Team Management· Provide leadership and guidance to the process improvement team, ensuring they are motivated, informed, and effectively contributing to the transformation objectives.· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and proactive problem-solving within the team.8. Risk Management· Proactively identify risks associated with process changes and develop strategies to mitigate them.· Ensure that all process improvements comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.9. Resource Allocation· Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of personnel, technology, and budget in process transformation projects.Experience required.
    Essential:· Experience: Extensive experience in process improvement and transformation within a large, multi-site organisation.· Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.· Project Management Skills: Proven ability in managing large-scale transformation projects.· Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess processes and identify maturity enhancements.· Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and team collaboration
    Desirable: · Certifications: Qualifications like Six Sigma, Lean Management, or similar process improvement methodologies.· Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and process modelling tools.· Innovative Thinking: Ability to think outside the box and bring creative solutions to complex process challenges.· Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt strategies in response to new information or changing conditions.
