Summary
We are looking for a “Business Procurement Manager (f/m/d)” for the “Optronics” division at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
As a project buyer, you will be responsible for the procurement of materials, services and equipment for our projects and products in the field of land systems. You will work as an active member of the project teams with project / product management, quality management, production control and development to ensure that all required resources are procured in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Your Tasks

• Active participation in engineering projects for the early implementation of the procurement strategy for new product developments
• Cooperation and coordination of tenders and quotations with strategic purchasing as well as cooperation in the preparation of customer quotations within the framework of product costing and the definition of schedules
• Independent tendering and negotiation of contracts with selected suppliers
• Drawing up and monitoring the procurement plan throughout the entire project / product development phase
• Regular status and KPI reporting to the project manager and project management
• Identifying potential savings and optimizing procurement processes
• Acting as a competent contact person for internal departments such as project / product management, production, quality, finance, development and legal as well as the central purchasing departments
• Pursuing targets to improve costs, quality, delivery reliability and innovation

Your Profile

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the area of project procurement
• Experience of working in complex project structures is advantageous
• Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Negotiating skills and assertiveness
• Analytical skills and cost awareness
• Business fluent German and English skills
