WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC, HIGHLY MOTIVATED BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER TO ENHANCE OUR ALREADY ESTABLISHED FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE TEAM WHO WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE KEY WORK OF THE EDUCATION AND CHILDREN’S DIRECTORATE.

This position is part time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro – rata basis.

This post is within Residential Services in the locality office based at Slyne Road ASU, 73 Slyne Road, Lancaster LA1 2JH and Alexandra House, Westbourne Drive, Lancaster LA1 5EE providing support to the Home Manager and operational staff. We are currently working a combination of home and office working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable confidential working space within your home and an appropriate broadband connection.
What we are looking for:
Passion – You’ll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it’s what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you’ve developed elsewhere.
Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
Great Communication – You’ll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
