Responsibilities:

We seek a passionate, self-motivated, and well-organised individual with exceptional communication skills to join our team at the heart of the Energy Queensland Network. As a Business Support Officer , you will be based in our Brisbane office and play a pivotal role in our dynamic and diverse operations. Reporting directly to the Queensland State Manager, you will work in a cross-functional capacity and provide crucial administrative support across our business’s commercial, operational, and financial aspects.

Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute the raising invoices, progress claims and purchase orders.
  • Distribution of work calendars and tracking of work in accordance with the program.
  • Compiling reports, managing timesheets and compiling work packages when required.
  • Manage the collection of timesheets, submit payroll data, and control payroll documents.
  • Liaise with critical internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, Downer employees, and the general public.
