The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support the existing production environment and participate in current and future development projects. The individual will analyze moderate to complex system and functionality-related problems in our insurance business systems.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client location in Markham at a minimum 1 day per week - subject to change at any time.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The BSA will analyze moderate to complex systems and functionality issues as reported by the business unit.
• Recommend and communicate possible workaround solutions before programming changes are applied.
• Proactively act upon any recognized trends in system problems.
• Evaluate and offer feedback on different solutions.
• Create Requirement documentation for introducing system changes.
• Testing moderate to complex system changes, and maintaining and updating tables changes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• ClaimCenter experience (5 plus years)
• PolicyCenter experience (3 plus years)
• JIRA experience (3 years)
• Experience within a production support group supporting bug fixes and business as usual changes supporting ClaimCenter
• Experience coordinating and managing change with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors
• Ability to understand downstream impacts to change (financial)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
