Description:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support the existing production environment and participate in current and future development projects. The individual will analyze moderate to complex system and functionality-related problems in our insurance business systems.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client location in Markham at a minimum 1 day per week - subject to change at any time.
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The BSA will analyze moderate to complex systems and functionality issues as reported by the business unit.
- Recommend and communicate possible workaround solutions before programming changes are applied.
- Proactively act upon any recognized trends in system problems.
- Evaluate and offer feedback on different solutions.
- Create Requirement documentation for introducing system changes.
- Testing moderate to complex system changes, and maintaining and updating tables changes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- ClaimCenter experience (5 plus years)
- PolicyCenter experience (3 plus years)
- JIRA experience (3 years)
- Experience within a production support group supporting bug fixes and business as usual changes supporting ClaimCenter
- Experience coordinating and managing change with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors
- Ability to understand downstream impacts to change (financial)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
