JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Program Manager, CRE (Corporate Real Estate) System Solutions & Strategy, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a top-notch team, responsible for a wide range of software solutions supporting Corporate Real Estate. You will collaborate closely with the Corporate Real Estate Team, internal developers, analysts, and end users to guide and deliver conceptualization of product enhancement, through to launch. the successful incumbent will oversee administrative functions across Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Technology applications, such as application permissions, development of test plans, functional testing and troubleshooting, data integrity controls, user support and education, and process documentation. This role handles managing, negotiating, and implementing new and existing software and license agreements, negotiating price and contract terms, taking part in RFIs and RFPs and other related software contract management activities for existing and future tools we support.
The incumbent will manage, prioritize, and speed up Corporate Real Estate (CRE) initiatives, and support database accuracy. As systems evolve over time, this role will continually assess efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent will regularly engage with their CRE peers in both training and design thinking - defining, ideating, prototyping, testing and prioritizing improvements and will be involved in implementing initiatives such as new application on-boarding, automation, or data restructuring in response to evolving business needs.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Project management skills/experience
- Product development / ownership experience
- Cloud platform experience, preferably Service Now
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Archibus and emerging tools such as Jira, Confluence, Changepoint, Athena, Miro
- Industry recognized certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum, Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) an asset
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients to understand business and systems requirements, documenting them, and translating them into functional and system requirements specifications for use by developers to build the solution and for testers to confirm functionality
- Apply knowledge of systems and technology to enhance solutions and manage data quality
- Prioritizing backlog refinement, prioritizing/updating requirements, and writing quality, and detailed user stories
- Gathering and processing business information related to procedures and data to clarify business issues / requirements
- Developing alternative solutions based on business drivers and impact / cost analysis
- Supporting scope management
- Collaborating directly with development team to deliver projects on time and to the client’s satisfaction
- Ensuring quality of the developed solution meets the business functional requirements and is production ready
- Managing relationships with team and clients
- Collect and manage enhancement ideas via a continuous improvement pipeline
- Manage stakeholder expectations using clear communications to aid in change management activities
- Support onboarding of new systems
- Develop test plans, lead business testing, and supply troubleshooting ability
- Collect stakeholder feedback post implementation.
