JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the coordination of gathering business and functional requirements and developing and implementing programs, projects, and initiatives that enhance overall business operations, communication, and workflow efficiencies. You will also be responsible for system administration of Greystar’s property management system, Yardi RentCafe, and be the local expert-level super user and support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Acts as subject matter expert for Yardi applications (RentCafe, CRM Flex, Elevate AR Manager/ Procure to Pay, MaintenanceIQ) in the residential real estate space.
  • Conducts detailed needs assessments for proposing systems and/ or business solutions by communicating with the business team. Develops detailed workflow diagrams and charts to confirm understanding of requirements.
  • Completes evaluation and troubleshooting systems support escalations, working with various business groups and/or software vendors to facilitate resolution.
  • Assists with gathering system requirements, design, development, testing, and system roll-out, including preparing senior management reporting on results. Facilitates and supports the business through the change management process.
  • Develops user guides to support systems and software training.
  • Assists in evaluating new system configuration and its impact on existing operations. Recommends solution to resolve any impact identified.
  • Participate and be part of a variety of regional technology projects and other support works when needs arise.

Role Scope:

  • Reports to Director, Business Systems.
  • Have accountability for the successful management of designated IT system projects ensuring projects are effectively managed and reported for Greystar Asia Pacific, supporting operational effectiveness and optimisation of functionalities.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Yardi applications (RentCafe, CRM Flex, Elevate AR Manager/ Procure to Pay, MaintenanceIQ) at an expert level.
  • Good working knowledge of Yardi Voyager 7S, GL Accounting (AR/AP).
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the residential real estate space.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience of working with business systems, in a similar level system administration or analytical and systems implementation/ project management/ support role.
  • Experience within or general understanding of the real estate or hospitality sector, in particular residential apartments, and third-party management, in order to relate financial and operating analyses to practical business solutions and process improvements.
  • Solid business analysis skills to be able to synthesize requirements and be effective at activity and milestone management and tracking of progress.
  • Experience in helping users document requirements for communication to technical resources to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • A positive team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach along with ability to work collaboratively to drive results and support the wider team and business objectives.
  • Excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and show good judgment under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with impact and influence.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness; an understanding the cycle of business change and the critical need to engage with stakeholders throughout a programme.
